Ethnocentrism
Ethnocentrism is an assessment of other cultures, based on the values and standards of the culture itself. Some ethnocentric people will judge other groups relative to one group or culture. Especially for matters relating to language, behavior, habits, and religion.
More simply, the resolution of ethnocentrism is the fanaticism of a tribe, which is the perception shared by each individual and considers the way of life of the nation to be the best way of life.
This ethnocentrism can look like it is not seen in the midst of society. While consider as something natural, and become a natural choice that comes from human wisdom, but this ethnocentrism contains negative connotations that exist in society.
However, some positive aspects are derived from ethnocentrism research, which is approved by the stability and integrity of a culture. And can increase the sense of patriotism and loyalty to the nation. And able to strengthen love for the culture and nation.
